NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is an entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India.
As far as I know, NEET doesn't have any correction option in the application form once it is submitted. So, candidates need to fill the NEET application form carefully and double-check all the details before submitting it. However, in case of any discrepancy found in the application form, candidates can make corrections during the correction period provided by the conducting authority.
The conducting authority usually provides a correction window for a certain period of time after the application form submission. During this period, candidates can make corrections to certain fields of the application form such as personal details, contact information, academic details, and category, etc. However, it is important to note that not all fields can be corrected during the correction period. So, candidates are advised to carefully fill in all the details in the NEET application form and double-check it before submitting it.
During the correction period, candidates can correct the following fields in the NEET application form:
Personal Details: Name, Father's name, Mother's name, Date of birth, Gender, Nationality, Category, Person with Disability (PwD) status, Identification Type, Identification Number.
Contact Details: Address, Email ID, Mobile number.
Academic Details: Qualifying Examination code and percentage, Year of passing, Roll number, Name of School/College, State of Eligibility.
It is important to note that candidates cannot change their exam center city during the correction period. Also, candidates cannot change their Category from SC/ST/OBC to General or vice versa during the correction period.
Additionally, it is recommended that candidates thoroughly check all the details filled in the application form before submitting it to avoid any discrepancy in the future. Candidates must ensure that all the details entered in the application form are correct and match the details mentioned in the official documents.
